Tower Crane Rescue Training

Overview
This training session is intended for those who erect, work on, operate and dismantle tower cranes when protected from potential falls by using personal fall protection PPE. Course delegates will be provided with the information required of them to carry out the safe rescue of a colleague after an arrested fall. The course also enables the rescuer to safely rescue a crane operator who has become incapacitated due to a medical condition and cannot climb down the crane.

• Duration -           The duration of this training course is Three days, based on a minimum of seven working hours per day
• No. Of People -    6 candidates per course.
• Location -           Customer’s site
• Certification -       Certificates will be issued to all candidates who successfully complete the course and achieve the required standard in the assessment.
• Pre-Requisites -  Due to the practical elements of this course, which could be at great heights, all candidates must be competent users of Personal Fall Protection PPE. It is advised that the completion of “Fall Protection Equipment – User Theory Training”  and “User Practical Training” are the appropriate levels of training to fulfill this requirement. Customers not requiring this User Training must demonstrate the competency of the candidates before the rescue training commences, either through recognized certificated training or through a short practical exercise set by the IKAR GB trainer.
