Combining high-performance lithium-ion cells and the very latest in LED technology within a rugged impact-resistant, water and dust proof compact housing, the low-weight Oldham DLi cordless caplamp is ideal for mining, underground, tunnelling and personal lighting applications where hands-free lighting requirements demand high performance from a compact design.

The advanced design of the DLi caplamp features a tilting cap-clip to assist variation in helmet design and user preference. Three separate LEDs provide high intensity spot focus, wide angle working light and auxiliary/emergency lighting. The multi-function switch cycles the lamp through the various lighting options: in standard factory setting the lamp will switch through a lighting cycle of:

1.Pilot/Auxiliary Light

2.Full Power

3.Boost "Turbo” Light Power

4.Off

Within the software control, a low-voltage programme cuts off the wide-angle LED and dims the spot-LED slightly so that the user has clear warning of voltage drop yet retains a functional working light in order to complete any duties and exit the mine with clear and safe light performance. This also provides safety to the user in the event of being delayed, trapped or required to stay underground for longer periods.

Utilising the light sequence software programme function, customer options can be incorporated for different lighting characteristics which may include single LED function for spot or wide beam, flashing warning at low-voltage or timed operation, brighter or dimmer standard settings etc.

The DLi caplamps is a completely maintenance-free design, but key components can be repaired & replaced when necessary.

Adapter kits are available to convert existing chargers to accommodate the DLi caplamp, in addition to individual and 10-lamp charging cradles. For added versatility, a USB powered charger is available which can be connected to a laptop/PC or vehicle 12v power supply, meaning that a fully charged lamp is always close at hand – the ultimate in portable safety lighting.
