Crowncon Tetra T4 Multi Gas Detector with Charger

This unit has been Safety Gear Store's primary multi gas monitor for the past few years due to its small design and one button operation giving the user an easy to use monitor offering personal multi gas warning in confined spaces and other hazardous areas.

Drager CF15 Minute Escape Set

The Dräger Saver CF constant flow Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus allows safe, effective and uncomplicated escape from hazardous environments. Simple to put on and featuring practically automatic operation, this hood-based, positive-pressure breathing device can be used with minimal training.

 

Checkmate 2 Point Full Body Harnes

The PBH06Y Three point full body fall arrest safety harness is easy to put on and lightweight, for complete comfort when in use. It is suitable for general fall arrest and also rescue, coming with the addition of an integrated rescue yoke and rescue strop and is therefore useful in a whole host of applications when working at height and / or in confined spaces.

Four points of adjustment ensure that it fits well and comfortably, for added confidence and safety. It has both front and rear ‘D’ attachment points. The front ‘D’ is centrally located ensuring loads are evenly spread. Constructed from water repellent and UV resistant hard-wearing polyester webbing and carbon steel fittings which are black powder coated, this is a quality, hard-wearing harness built for longevity in the field.

Two colour body to leg webbing is used on this harness. It also has trapezoidal buckles, contrast colour stitching for easy inspection of any wear and tear and a shock absorbing rear dorsal. It is available with either stainless or dielectric fitting options.

This is a popular and versatile harness that ensures there is a separate connection for rescue and is both simple to use and hard-wearing.

Ikar Ikar Tripod Kit 12m Recovery Inertia Winch
This kit consists of: 
  • DBA2 Tripod
  • 12m Inertia winch

  • The HRA is a fall arrest block / Inertia reel / retractable type fall arrester, with built in two-way rescue/recovery mechanism. 

    Fall arrest device with rescue lifting and lowering facility, equipped with a recovery mechanism operated by a device mounted handle. After an arrested fall, or if the user becomes incapacitated at the bottom of a shaft, the recovery mechanism can easily be engaged by a second person to raise or lower the person to a place of safety. 

    The HRA can be mounted onto the DB-AR tripod via the required bracket (Included in the price of the HRA) The HRA is not suitable for use over a leading edge and has not been edge tested.
