Analox ASPBC03YU01 Aspida Portable Gas Monitor - Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen

The Aspida offers personal protection for our medical key workers from the dangers of enriched oxygen (O2) and is trusted by medical staff across the globe.
This portable device is ideal for medics operating from emergency rooms and critical care wards such as: ICU’s, IDU’s and HDU’s. It will alert users to dangerous levels of O2 in the event of a leak from a manifold or cylinder.

NHS Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Standard Operating Procedures highlights the need for O2 monitoring to keep our healthcare sites safe:
Extract: "Where medical oxygen consumption increases, steps must be taken to ensure the oxygen level (oxygen enrichment) is maintained below 23.5%."

This is also detailed in EH40 and OSHA regulations. Enriched O2 poses a risk of hyperoxia on the human body as well as presenting an increased fire risk.
The Aspida will alert doctors, nurses and medical staff to any O2 levels above 23.5% with an audible and visual alarm, enabling them to take quick action to keep themselves and their patients safe.

Saving lives and rapid crisis response is at the heart of what we do.
