Product Overview:

The Midas Gas Detector uses reliable sensor technology to detect many key toxic, ambient and flammable gases in a plant. The device monitors points up to 100 feet (30 meters) away while using patented technology to regulate flow rates and ensure error-free gas detection. Thanks to Honeywell’s use of advanced robotics, the Midas Gas Detector offers unbeatable quality and reliability:

Modules

Pyrolyzer Module for NF3Gas Detection (order separate transmitter unit) 

Pyrolyzer Midas transmitters provide detection of NF3 specifically. The unit includes a snap-on pyrolyzer module that operates with any Universal Midas Extractive Transmitter (order separately) and (1) Freon inline filter. Units are powered via direct connection to the transmitter unit. Pyrolyzer includes Pyrolyzer Quick Start Guide and installation screws. Order the NF3 cartridge (MIDAS-S-HFX) separately. Order the ventilated top cover (MIDAS-A-103 or MIDAS-A-103G)  separately.

High Temperature Pyrolyzer Module for Perfluoro Compounds (PFC) Gas Detection(order separate transmitter unit)

Higher Temperature Pyrolyzer MIDAS® transmitters provide detection of NF3, Hexafluorobutadiene (C4F6),Methyl Fluoride (CH3F) and Octofluorocyclopentene (C5F8). Unit includes a snap on pyrolyzer module that operates with anyUniversal MIDAS® Extractive Transmitter (order separately). Units are powered via direct connection to transmitter unit.Consult Honeywell Analytics for additional gases detectable with this option. Pyrolyzer includes Pyrolyzer Quick Start Guideand installation screws. Order the PFC cartridge (MIDAS-S-XCF or MIDAS-E-XCF) separately.Order the ventilated top cover (MIDAS-A-103 or MIDAS-A-103G) separately.

LonWorks Module for Midas® Transmitter Connection

Optional LonWorks interface module that mounts to and connects with any single, universal Midas® extractive transmitter withor without Pyrolyzer (order these separately) to provide bi-directional LonWorks connectivity; remote reset and remote controlof the onboard relays. Unit is 24V DC powered and provides power and communications directly to the attached Midas®transmitter using special ethernet cross over cable (supplied). Includes Quick Start Guide and mounting bracket to theMidas® transmitter; rear panel installation screws are not supplied.

Quad LonWorks Module for External Transmitter Connection

Optional Modbus/TCP to LonWorks converter gateway that can connect up to 4 Midas® transmitters (with or without pyrolyzers)to a LonWorks network. Requires separate 24V DC power supply and ethernet connector cables. Suitable for DIN railmounting. Consult Honeywell Analytics for full technical details. Access to LonMaker programming is required (not included).
