William Hackett SS-C4 Topside and Subsea Chain Block

Working Load Limit Range: 500Kg to 20 tonnes.

Light Load Capability: the SS-C4 is tested and certified at 2% of the chain hoist rated capacity.

Safety Latches: the SS-C4 chain hoist top and bottom hooks are fitted with heavy duty cast steel latches. The latch and hook tips are integrated creating a strong and robust hook closure.

Overload Indication Marks: SS-C4 chain block top and bottom hooks have, as part of the hook forging, overload indicator marks either side of the hook throat.

Hook Housing: the SS-C4 chain hoist top and bottom hook housings are secured with socket head cap screws/hex head bolts and nyloc insert locking nuts.

Fleeting/Cross Hauling: the SS-C4 chain hoist has been independently tested and verified (Test Report 2550-7615) for fleeting or cross hauling applications at angles up to 45° from the vertical without deration.

Load Chain: the WH-C4 chain blocks are fitted with load chain that fully complies with international standard BS EN818-7 Grade T (8).

Temperature Range: -20°C to + 120°C.

Proof Tested: every hoist is proof tested to 1.5 times the Working Load Limit

Corrosion Protection: all internal brake components and latch kits are corrosion protected and tested to 500hrs and salt spray testing according to ASTM B117 and ISO9227.

Calibrated: Grade S (6) 316L stainless steel load chain, hand chain and bottom hook (stainless steel bottom hooks are only available for 500 KG and 1 tonne units).

Optional Equipment: the SS-C4 chain block can be fitted with an overload limiter and also hook adaptors to allow any Gr8 fixing to be fitted to the SS-C4 to suit varying applications.
